The IDIMP project is based on the old EIP called Domobox (now named XtenBOX). A RFID feature will be added to increase the solution potential.

During the holidays we have taken a decision about the evolution of the project.

The power that can provide new graphical interface available in WPF (with. NET framework 3.5), led us to change direction in order to provide a richer user interface.

Before that, we used the C++ win32, but it seemed outdated to us.

Moreover, this change has allowed us to rethink the architecture of the project:

  - Management of multiple database (mysql native),
  - Management of several different home automation protocol,
  - Managing multiple RFID reader,
  - Asynchronous operation for the recovery scenario.

The main software got visually pimped.

Thanks to Maxime's girlfriend IDimP now have a great look, this look target the software but also the website.

You can view the new interface in the media menu.

IDimP is an home automation project with scenario.

IDimP allow you to configure differents scenario thanks to RFID tags.

Multiple interfaces permits you to manage your home from anywhere:

  • Web interface,
  • Computer software interface,
  • Cellular software.

 

This project is a "Epitech Innovative Project" (EIP) and is based on an old home automation EIP called XtenBox.
