What is IDIMP?

IDIMP is EIP (Epitech Innovative Project) made during our two last years in Epitech.

With IDIMP you can load differents home automation scenarios thanks to the RFID.

What is RFID?

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is the use of an object (typically referred to as an RFID tag) applied to or incorporated into a product, animal, or person for the purpose of identification and tracking using radio waves.

What is Home automation?

Home automation is an up and coming trend that the public looks for in residential houses, apartments, and commercial businesses. Although many techniques used in building automation (such as light and climate control, control of doors and window shutters, security and surveillance systems, etc.) are also used in home automation, additional functions in home automation can include the control of multi-media home entertainment systems, automatic houseplant watering, domestic robots and pet feeding, automatic scenes for dinners and parties, and a more user-friendly control interface.

How IDIMP works?

IDIMP load home automation scenarios thanks to your RFID tag. The home automation part is realised by the XtenBox (http://www.xtenbox.fr).

In fact, you have a web interface which permits you to manage your scenarios. When you get back home, you pass your RFID tag and the reader will load the correct scenario depending on the time.
